I come home from tour in a few days and am eager to get cracking with the oily-partsof this conversion.
Whilst I've been out here I've managed to buy the following items on the 'net and (much to my wife's disgust) they've all been delivered so are waiting for me to get my grubby mitts on them :Q
The haul so far (in addition to items already shown earlier in the thread):
1. Cosworth inlet manifold.
2. Pro-Alloy full-width radiator & Fan.
3. GRS Front-Mount intercooler.
4. Garrett GT28R Ball-Bearing turbo.
5. Mondeo MK3 2.0 Duratec Engine mount.
6. MK3.5 Power steering pipework.
7. Fiesta ST Power steering pump.
8. "Duratec Inside" Sticker for the rear 'screen! 😛
Still got to buy:
1. Pumaspeed Fiesta ST Turbo Garrett GT Turbo Exhaust Manifold.
2. Fuel Injectors.
3. Management.
4. Fuel Pump.
5. Quaife ATB Diff.
6. Coolant/Boost/Fuel Pipework.
7. Map Sensor.
8. Decent FRST Exhaust (& some kind of downpipe :oooh: )
9. Pay the machine shop to bore my block to 88mm and also shorten 1 driveshaft.
Probably missed a few bits there but things are looking optimistic for the Silver One - Stand by for pics when I return! 😉

Forged 9:1 compression 88mm Pistons.
Caterham CSR200 Cosworth Inlet Plenum (N/Aspirated 2.0 makes 200BHP on these so my Turbo 2.3 should be just fine on it 😉 ) - Need to buff the "Caterham" writing off though...
Was a lucky ebay find - even came with a 70mm Throttle body!
ARP Flywheel Bolts.
Fiesta ST Power Steering Pump.
Mondeo 2.0 Duratec MK3 Engine mount (for dummy-fitting purposes, will buy a new mount at some point, honest!)
Chad sticker for the rear 'screen - I was going to leave it as a complete sleeper but I need something to shout about all the hard work that I'm about to undertake! :oooh:
Off to the Parcel Depot tomorrow to collect my Fidanza Flywheel and SPEC Stage3 Clutch, The Garrett GT28R, Pumaspeed Fiesta ST Turbo manifold, ARP head studs, ARP main studs, Coswoth Main bearings & Gasket set are in the post, stand by for more pics and hopefully some actual progress! :aviator:

Just been and collected some parcels from the Parcelforce depot in Ipswich and couldn't believe how much I had to spend in VAT & import duty! 😡
Check out the VAT charge for my clutch and flywheel :rolleyes:
Here you go - a nice, new Fidanza flywheel to replace the old, nasty dual-mass one.
Stage 3 SPEC Clutch - Thinking this is gonna be rather nasty to use in traffic! :aaah:
Cosworth main crank bearings from Burton Power - Thought I'd better renew all bearings while I'm rebuiding it 😉
